Ricardo graduated Magna Cum Laude Honors from Keene State University (New Hampshire, U.S.A) in Economics and Business Administration after receiving a full board sports scholarship to play basketball.
Later he obtained a Research Scholarship at Claremont Graduate School (California, U.S.A.) where he obtained his Master’s Degree in International Political and Economic Studies.
In 1997 he joined the European Commission’s Common Service for International Relations (RELEX).
In the year 2000, he started his career as independent consultant working in different EU projects around the world.
In the next few years, Ricardo evaluated EU projects and collaborated with the World Bank in different countries including Somalia, Kenya, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brasil, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Switzerland, Denmark, Holland, Hungary and Romania.
In 2002 he established in Romania where he founded GIS GROUP. During the last 12 years, Ricardo has been assisting companies form different countries both in their Implementation Strategies as well as in their day-to-day operations in the country. He also launched two Investment Funds Vehicles to invest in Romania in the Real Estate Sector.
